A PCR-SSP method based Human Platelet Antigen Genotyping Kit CapitalBio Human Platelet Antigen Genotyping Kit is based on a PCR-SSP (Sequence Specific Primers) method. It is used for genotyping of 12 human platelet antigen (HPA) systems, including HPA-1 (1a, 1b), HPA-2 (2a, 2b), HPA-3 (3a, 3b), HPA-4 (4a, 4b), HPA-5 (5a, 5b), HPA-15 (15a, 15b). The kit consists of Taq polymerase and 12 primer-buffer mixture solutions corresponding to the 12 platelet antigens. The genotyping is achieved by comparison of the test electrophoresis patterns with standard platelet antigen genotype patterns.
