The detection of pathogenic organisms is an important aspect of the routine monitoring of contaminants in food. CapitalBio Foodborne Pathogen Detection Kit provides a high throughput method for the analysis of pathogenic microbes in food and water samples.
Based on a combination of microarray techniques, PCR and bioinformatics, nine pathogens including: Staphylococcus, Vibrio cholerae, E. coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp., ß -Hemolytic streptococcus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Campylobacter jejuni, and Enterobacter sakazakii can be rapidly and simultaneously detected with high accuracy and sensitivity.
