LuxScan 10K-A Gets CE Certification
Beijing, China -- May 17, 2005 -- CapitalBio Corp. announces that it has received the CE Certification approval for its Microarray Scanner LuxScan 10K-A. Products successfully went through rigorous evaluation and testing to receive the CE Certificate. This regulatory milestone clears the way for CapitalBio to market its confocal dual laser microarray scanner throughout the European Union for microarray imaging which is useful for academic and industrial biomedical research and drug discovery.
LuxScan 10K-A Microarry Scanner is a dual color confocal scanner for high-density microarray signal detection. It integrates a dozen unique designs in its optical, signal processing and motion control systems. The Scanner offers two excitation lasers with wavelengths of 532nm and 635nm, provides high sensitivity, accuracy, dynamic range and linearity, due to its unique and advanced signal acquisition and processing design. LuxScan 10K-A has a superior cost/performance ratio when compared with similar instruments, thus offering an ideal tool for academic and industrial research laboratories.
