In June, 2009, CapitaBio antinuclear antibody (ANA) test array kit was recognized as Innovation Product among the fourth batch of products by Beijing government officials.

On 15 JUNE, 2009, CapitalBio Corporation, a leading Chinese diagnostics and life science company which develops and markets biochip technologies, tools and services, and Accesolab the leader in the supply and distribution of laboratory equipment and reagents for research, medicine and industry in Mexico, announced an agreement for the distribution of CapitalBio products and services in Mexico. 

The 2nd China Biochip application conference --- food safety, agriculture and environmental protection was held in University Science and Technology Park of Ningbo, innovation valley on May 25th to May 27th 2009. The major topics in this conference include biochip applications in detection of pathogenic micro-organisms of agricultural products, detection and control of animal disease, the safety of GM food, detection of pathogenic micro-organisms culture aquatic products, improvement of crop varieties, molecular breeding, basic research in agriculture, and modern forestry and environmental protection. There are over 30 well known academia invited to give seminars in the conference, over 200 representives of academia across the world invited to discuss various issues in biochip applications.

On May 18th, 2009, the 2nd China Biochip application conference --- medical research and diagnosis was held in Chongqing. This conference provided a platform for over 400 representatives of academia and entrepreneurs to discuss in the development of Biochip, Biochip application in medical research and clinical diagnosis and prospects of biochip application.

On May 11th 2009, the opening ceremony of Chinese Bone Marrow Donor Tissue Library was held by the Data Bank of Chinese Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donors also known as Chinese Marrow Donor Program （CMDP）in the National Engineering Research Centre for Beijing Biochip Technology (CapitalBio). Chinese Marrow Donor Program is a public welfare organization under the leadership of Red Cross Society of China. Peiyun Peng, the Chairman of Red Cross Society of China and Jing Cheng, the Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Beijing Biochip Technology both participated in the ceremony.

Currently, CapitalBio was granted the “High and New Technology Enterprises Certificate” (Certificate No. GR200811000590) jointly by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Finance Bureau of Beijing, Beijing Municipal Office, State Administration of Taxation, P.R. China and Beijing Local Taxation Bureau.
